Check the configured coupon code length and increase to 8 or more.
A short coupon code length makes it more difficult for the system to find a free coupon code.
Also make sure to clean up your coupons with the feature "Delete Expired Coupons" in MailBeez > Configuration > Coupon Engine to keep your coupon database as slim as possible.
