Customer Insight images load slowly and progressively

Is there any cache available for the images in "Customer Insight"? If there is no feature available for image compression and resizing, there is an add-on that I use frequently called "KISSit Image Thumbnailer" for osCommerce. Not sure how the images are generated for Customer Insight or any other module, but it seems the browser is doing the heavy resizing, or a php function that would benefit from an installed function

yes, currently the highres images are shown. depending on the image size the loading can take a while. Will consider to integrate a thumb nailer.
